U.S. Army paratroopers assigned to 2nd Battalion, 503 Parachute infantry Regiment pack up their medical supplies and get ready to move off of Juliette Drop Zone, April 15, 2021. This training gave our paratroopers the opportunity to test their tactics, techniques and procedures and to gain confidence in their equipment.
The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army’s Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United European, Africa and Central Command areas of responsibility. Forward deployable across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthened the alliance.
