After nearly 15 months of saving lives, Soldiers from Company C 'Witch Doctors,' 2nd Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, wade through the hustle and bustle of customs inspections in Balad, Iraq, Nov. 18. The Witch Doctors, 1st Cav. Div.'s medical evacuation unit, are headed home to Fort Carson, Colo. After flying their UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters to Balad, they broke them down and prepped them for transportation back to the U.S. on a large transport airplane.
