Maj. Gen. John P. Sullivan, commanding general, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, and Col. Peckham received the Legion of Merit for his for distinguishing himself through outstanding meritorious service leading 24/7 operations from the 1st TSC Main Command Post. He planned, organized, directed, and controlled military operations under direction of the 1st TSC commander in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel (OFS), Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR), Operation Spartan Shield (OSS), and Task Force Sinai's Multi-national Force & Observer (MFO) mission.
