Col. James Peckham, assistant chief of staff for operations, G3, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, delivers an exceptional speech after receiving the Legion of Merit during his PCS award presentation at Fowler Hall, Fort Knox, Kentucky, April 27th 2021. Peckham received the Legion of Merit for distinguishing himself through outstanding meritorious service leading 24/7 operations from the 1st TSC Main Command Post. He planned, organized, directed, and controlled military operations under direction of the 1st TSC commander in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel (OFS), Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR), Operation Spartan Shield (OSS), and Task Force Sinai's Multi-national Force & Observer (MFO) mission.
