Sgt. 1st Class Christopher McCord, of the 60th Troop Command, grills pork shoulders and chicken breast during a BBQ, Sept. 2, at the Rudisill National Guard Armory in Charlotte, N.C., for nearly 200 soldiers participating in Joint Task Force-Panther. McCord, also from Charlotte, N.C., is the brigade food service supervisor for for JTF-Panther, an operation where North Carolina National Guard soldiers supported Mecklenburg County civil authorities during the Democratic National Convention.
