North Carolina National Guardsmen, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 105th Military Police Battalion, fasten thick Velcro strips during the assembly of a military dome tent at Camp Greene, Aug. 30, during the Joint Task Force-Panther in Charlotte, N.C. The Soldiers had the 50-by-25-foot tent standing freely within one hour, ready to house an incoming unit. Camp Greene is a temporary military police base approximately three miles from the Rudisill National Guard Armory. JTF-Panther made up the military support and response element for the Democratic National Convention, a national special-security event held Sept. 3-6, in Charlotte.
