PACIFIC OCEAN (April 20, 2021) A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 165 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), flies over amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) during a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel exercise, April 20. Essex is underway as part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) conducting routine training off the coast of southern California with the 11th MEU.
