PACIFIC OCEAN (April 20, 2021) U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Charles Hultmark, a rifleman with Bravo company, Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), stages aboard amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) after completing a simulated tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel mission, April 20. Sailors and Marines of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 11th MEU are conducting routine training off the coast of southern California.
