After an air movement from Darwin, Australia, a MV-22 Osprey touches down at a landing zone to drop off U.S. Marines with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, and members of the Australian Defence Force, at Tiwi Island, NT, Australia, May 3, 2021. Marines and ADF members conducted a site survey at Tiwi Island in preparation of an upcoming exercise for MRF-D’s 10th rotation. The 2021 rotation provides the U.S. Marine Corps and ADF with an exceptional opportunity to develop relationships, learn about each other’s cultures, strengthen partnership, and increase shared military capabilities.
