Soldiers from C Company, 1/19th Special Forces Group, 71st Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, the 147th Air Support Operations Squadron and the 249th Quartermasters Company splash down on the choppy waters of Walter E. Long Lake, Sept. 8. The operation was a joint endeavor between the Texas Military Forces, Department of Public Safety and the Texas Rangers, and will improve the capability of various airborne and water rescue operations in the future.
