In this image released by the United States Army Reserve, soldiers with the 75th Training Command participate in a ceremony marking a change of enlisted leadership in Houston, Texas, Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012. The event recognized the departure of Command Sgt. Maj. Luther Thomas, Jr., as well as the arrival of Command Sgt. Maj. Ronnie Farmer. Command sergeants major serve as the senior enlisted advisors to the commanding officers of large Army units, and are responsible for the overall welfare and discipline of their assigned soldiers. Farmer begins his rotation as the top non-commissioned officer of the 75th at a time when the unit is developing new cost-effective tools to help units train for deployments.
