A 27th Special Operations Support Squadron independent duty medical technician applies a needle decompression to a mannequin during a casualty evacuation course at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., April 30, 2021. The CASEVAC course was previously offered solely at Hurlburt Field, Fla., meaning IDMTs had to travel to be pre-deployment qualified.
