ST. LOUIS (May 29, 2021) Chief Navy Counselor Jason Winn, a recruiter assigned to Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Mid America, places U.S. flags on graves at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery during a Memorial Day flag laying commemoration, May 29, 2021. Approximately 70 volunteers from various organizations placed flags on 9,680 graves that day, a tradition that has continued for more than six decades at Jefferson Barracks during Memorial Day weekend. NTAG Mid America, part of Navy Recruiting Command, recruits the next generation of Navy Sailors throughout areas encompassing Missouri, Kansas, central and southern Illinois, and a portion of Kentucky.
