Muehlenbeck presented Baldwin with the Legion of Merit for his meritorious service from Nov. 5, 2017 to May 7, 2021, while serving as Arizona’s LCC. Baldwin will continue his 34 year-long-career as the Army National Guard Chief of Staff at the National Guard Bureau in D.C. “There is something unique about holding a command position. It is both the most demanding and most rewarding position you can hold in the Army. I appreciate this opportunity and General McGuire’s decision that allowed me to serve at both the brigade level and the state level as a commander.”
