A surviving member of the French Resistance looks on as Col. Marc V. LaRoche provides remarks in both English and French during the dedication ceremony of the memorial honoring the French Resistance in the town of St. Marie Du Mont on June 05, 2021. The members of the French Resistance are credited with aiding the Jedburgh teams in defeating the Nazis throughout occupied Europe and who are considered the foundation of modern day Special Operations throughout the world.
