JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Dec. 21, 2020) - Lt. Cmdr. Sarah Tallent, an operating room nurse at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, turns on equipment in preparation for a case. She holds a bachelor of science in nursing from Murray State University and a master of arts in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University. Tallent, a native of Murray, Kentucky, says, “I chose to follow in the footsteps of my mother, who retired as a Navy Reserve perioperative nurse, by going into the field of perioperative care.
