    31st Marine Expeditionary Unit       

    A U.S. Marine with Medium Marine Tilt Rotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), observes a Japan Maritime Self Defense Force Naval Ship during a touch and go drill in the Philippine Sea, June 12, 2021. Marines and the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force worked alongside one another to conduct touch and go drills consisting of a MV-22B Osprey landing and lifting off in a timely manner.
