Army and Air National Guard and Army Reserve units from Georgia, Rhode Island, Ohio and Indiana came together on June 14 at Camp Atterbury to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. After climbing to 10,000 feet, free fall qualified soldiers were able to use the Army’s new Advanced Ram Air Parachute System, which is not expected to reach full operational fielding until 2022. After a short decent, another group of soldiers were able to use the new parachute system’s static line configuration to increase operational flexibility. (Photo by Army National Guard Sgt.
