LUKE AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz.— Col. Abel Ramos, 924th Fighter Group commander, lines up his A-10 Thunderbolt II for in-flight refueling by an Arizona Air National Guard KC-135 Stratotanker from the 161st Air Refueling Wing, June 3, 2021. The 924th FG is located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, and is geographically separated from their parent wing, the 944th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The 944th FW is the Air Force Reserve Command’s most diverse fighter wing as it’s the only wing that trains on four different airframes. The 161st ARW is stationed at Goldwater Air National Guard Base at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Arizona. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Tech Sgt. Nestor Cruz)
