Emergency responders, from the Ohio National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing and Monclova Township Fire Department, along with aeromedical evacuation teams, assigned to the 445th Airlift Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, unload a simulated patient from a C-17 Globemaster III, assigned to Joint Base Mcguire-Dix-Lakehurst, during a joint military and civilian exercise at the 180FW in Swanton, Ohio, April 28, 2021. The exercise was part of Ultimate Caduceus, an annual patient movement exercise designed to test the ability of U.S. Transportation Command to provide medical evacuation.
