U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Clarence Harris, a navy Hospitalman, recites the Sailor’s creed with other hospitalmen at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point North Carolina, June 17, 2021. Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point (NHCCP) celebrated the 123rd Navy Hospital Corps Anniversary with a cake cutting and addressing the corpsmen of the clinic. Marines take great pride in serving alongside the corpsmen who are always there at the sound of “Corpsman Up.” The U.S. Navy Hospital Corps remains the largest and most auspicious rate, or military occupation specialty, in the Navy, with more than 30,000 active duty and reserve Corpsmen serving within our units across the Navy.
