U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Timothy E. Gowen, adjutant general for Maryland, officially meets with Lt. Gen. Senad Mašović, Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina chief of joint staff, June 23 for the first time in BiH. The Maryland National Guard and AFBiH have been partners for about 18 years since first connected in 2003 under the State Partnership Program. Gowen and Mašović spoke with one another about the many bilateral and multilateral training opportunities and advantages the two military organizations gain from the long-lasting partnership.
