U.S. Navy sailors assigned to Riverine Squadron 2, Bangladesh navy sailors assigned to Special Warfare Diving and Salvage Command and U.S. Marines assigned to Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team Pacific conduct a non-compliant boarding exercise aboard the Bangladesh navy offshore patrol vessel BNS Sangu (P-713). RIVRON-2, SWADS, FASTPAC and Sangu are participating in Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2012. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor Leste.
