Walters, the commanding general of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing ,takes his position as the reviewing officer for the Sept. 21 retirement ceremony. Prutch served 30 years in the Marine Corps and previously served alongside Walters as the sergeant major for 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward) in Helmand province, Afghanistan. His son, a landing support specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 4, served as the commander of troops for the event.
