172nd Airlift Wing Chaplain Maj. Caleb Clark and Airman 1st Class Ashleigh Hackler, an aeromedical evacuation technician with the 183rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, look to other crew members for updates while providing care to a patient during simulated training aboard a C-17 Globemaster III June 23, 2021. The training flight tested the ability of an aeromedical evacuation crew to provide in-flight care to numerous patients with various ailments. Aeromedical evacuation squadrons and military chaplains, who provide religious support to service members and their families, deploy anywhere air operations occur in support of the full range of military operations, humanitarian assistance and disaster response.
