Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC) personnel draw perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) Effluent Treatment System (PETS) treated water samples on Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, July 19, 2021. MCIPAC and MCAS Futenma hosted visitors from the Okinawa Prefectural Government (OPG), Ginowan City, the Okinawa Defense Bureau (ODB) and the Ministry of Environment to observe MCIPAC environmental branch personnel draw PETS treated water samples.
