A U.S. Army Soldier Pfc. Kenneth Ditteband assigned to Bravo Company, 1/30 Infantry Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division saws through a piece of wood at Patrol Base Hawkes in Arab Jabour, Iraq, Oct. 2. The 1/30th Infantry Battalion established the Patrol Base three weeks ago so they could show a military presence in an area that has not had any coalition presence in a long time.
