A U.S. Army Soldier assigned to Bravo Company, 1/30 Infantry Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division uses a crane to lift and place a cement barrier at Patrol Base Hawkes in Arab Jabour, Iraq, Oct. 2. The 1/30th Infantry Battalion established the Patrol Base three weeks ago so they could show a military presence in an area that hasn't had any coalition presence in a long time.
