Col. Marking Speaker Tobin’s first visit to the air station, he was briefed on the recent infrastructure changes aboard the air station as well as an update on the progress of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter build-up. “We try to make sure Arizona is pro-military, which is what I’m here for,” said Tobin. “We try to be ahead of the curve a little bit.” Tobin also visited the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground earlier in the day.
