U.S. Marines with 1st Radio Battalion, 2D Radio Battalion, 3D Radio Battalions, and Marine Corps Intelligence Activity hike through the woods, testing a new pack system at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, June 23, 2021. Focused on improving technology and gear, Marines spent a week testing a new pack system through a variety of situations. The Marines assessed the pack system and provided feedback to Marine Corps Systems Command for possible further modifications so Marines remain a lethal and mobile force.
