U.S. Marine, Gunnery Sgt. Christopher Passmore, 2D Radio Reconnaissance Platoon, 3D Radio Battalion, hikes at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, June 23, 2021. With the focus on improving technology and gear, Marines spent the week with Marine Corps Systems Command testing the new pack system through a variety of situations. The goal of these tests was to receive feedback on the system itself, the weight, and get a feel for how feasible this system would be. The feedback will be given to the designers for potential future modifications so Marines remain a lethal and mobile force. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Cpl. Sean Potter)
