Maj. Gen. John W. Nicholson, the new commander of the 82nd Airborne Division speaks to the Paratroopers of the division at Pike Field for the first time as their commander Oct. 4, 2012 during the change of command ceremony. This year's change of command is historic because it is the division's first simultaneous change of command and change of responsibility. Command Sgt. Maj. Bryant Lambert also relinquished responsibility as the senior enlisted noncommissioned officer of the division to Command Sgt. Maj. LaMarquis Knowles.
