GROTON, Conn. (Aug. 3, 2021) Staff from Fitch High School and Groton Public Schools visited with leadership from Naval Submarine Base, New London and Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory (NSMRL). During the visit, NSMRL and Fitch High School staff discussed potential collaborations as the school explores establishing a Navy National Defense Cadet Corps (NNDCC). NSMRL has lines of research that align with the NNDCC curriculum and a longstanding commitment to mentoring youth in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
