U.S. Navy STS3 Matthew Kellog explains the operating procedures of the USS Frank Cable submarine while U.S. Marines and Sailors assigned to III Marine workings Expeditionary Force tour the ship and submarine in Subic Bay, Zambales, Republic of the Philippines, Sept. 10, 2012. The Marines assigned to III MEF were able to tour the USS Frank Cable while preparing for the Amphibious Landing Exercise 2013 (PHIBLEX 2013). PHIBLEX 2013 is a bilateral training exercise conducted annually in the Republic of the Philippines to enhance amphibious readiness of both militaries and to strengthen interoperability.
