210812-N-EV253-1251 SAN DIEGO (Aug. 12, 2021) – Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Melshi Miclisse, assigned to the "Merlins" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 3, and from Miami, Florida, stands at attention after redesignating "Landslide 00," the squadron's display aircraft, during a change of command ceremony on Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island in Coronado, California, Aug. 12. During the ceremony, Cmdr. Loren Jacobi relieved Capt. William Eastham as commanding officer of HSC-3. HSC-3 is the Navy’s West Coast MH-60S fleet replacement squadron, responsible for training pilots and aircrewmen by providing the most capable warfighters to the fleet.
