During his visit to Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor, Rear Adm. Bruce Gillingham, Navy surgeon general and chief, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, along with Force Master Chief Michael Roberts, Director of the Hospital Corps, took the time to tour Naval Air Station Whidbey Island’s Aviation Survival Training Center, speaking here with Petty Officer Andrew Deacon, as part of his two-day tour of Navy Medicine commands in the Pacific Northwest, which included Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Bremerton.
