Montellano and Malyshev are from the 925th Contracting Battalion at Fort Drum, New York, Croston is from the 419th Contracting Support Brigade at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Meyers is the installation support division chief for Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort Lee, Frankovich is the director of MICC-Fort Lee, Redecker is a contracting officer from the 419th CSB, Kienzler is a contracting officer representative from ALU, Baladad is from the 419th CSB, and Fall is from the 925th CBN. The Department of Defense, through U.S. Northern Command, and in support of the Department of State and Department of Homeland Security, is providing transportation, temporary housing, medical screening, and general support for up to 50,000 Afghan evacuees at suitable facilities, in permanent or temporary structures, as quickly as possible.
