U.S. Air Force pilots assigned to the 71st Rescue Squadron turn on the rotors of an HC-130J Combat King II aircraft before departing Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, Aug. 24, 2021. The 71st RQS maintains combat-ready status with nine HC-130J aircraft. The 71st RQS conducted an air-to-air refuel with a KC-46A Pegasus assigned to the 916th Air Refueling Wing, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina as the first operational unit to be refueled by the KC-46A Pegasus.
