Stephenson assumed command of FDO-Fort Sam Houston from Col. Jason Jefferis during the ceremony officiated by Brig. Gen. Douglas Lowrey, the MICC commanding general. FDO-Fort Sam Houston is one of two directorates subordinate to the MICC.
