U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Francisco F. Acosta, squad leader for Weapons Company, participates in his promotion ceremony, at The Basic School aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, Sept. 1, 2021. Acosta was promoted by the Honorable Carlos Del Toro, Secretary of the Navy. The ceremony was held to recognize and honor Acosta for his hard work and dedication to the Marine Corps, as well as celebrate his promotion from corporal to sergeant.
