Spc. Tyler Strasser, a cavalry scout with 1st Squadron, 113th Cavalry Regiment, Iowa Army National Guard, presents a rose to his aunt, Kayla Strasser, during the change of responsibility ceremony for the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, at the Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center on Sept. 10, 2021. A yellow rose given to the wife of the incoming command sergeant major symbolizes a new beginning. The ceremony was a unique event, as the colors that represent the lineage and honors of the 2/34th IBCT were passed between two brothers who have dedicated a combined 47 years of service to the Red Bull brigade.
