Command Sgt. Maj. Matthew Strasser, the outgoing senior enlisted leader of the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, Iowa Army National Guard, passes the unit colors to Col. Derek Adams, the brigade commander, during the change of responsibility ceremony for the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, at the Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center on Sept. 10, 2021. The ceremony was a unique event, as Matthew transferred responsibility to his younger brother, Command Sgt. Maj. Jeremy Strasser.
