Derek Adams, the brigade commander, during the change of responsibility ceremony for the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, at the Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center on Sept. 10, 2021. The ceremony was a unique event, as Matthew transferred responsibility to his younger brother, Command Sgt. Maj. Jeremy Strasser.
