The Arrestor cable is to be used only in case of an emergency during take off or landing in order to provide aircraft a way to stop safely when travelling at high speed.
Operation NOBLE DEFENDER is under the operational control of the Canadian NORAD Region Headquarters and demonstrates agile and dynamic force employment to and from critical NORAD forward operating locations along North America’s northern approaches.
