A Polish special forces member gathers his parachute after a static line jump from a U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft onto an abandoned runway near Biala Podlaska, Poland, during Aviation Detachment Rotation 21-4, Sept. 15, 2021. The jump was supported by the 37th Airlift Squadron and the 435th Contingency response group out of Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Polish jumpers exercised Agile Combat Employment, which is a concept of operations intended to ensure U.S. Air Forces Europe – Air Forces Africa forces are ready for potential threats and contingencies by enabling forces to quickly disperse and continue to deliver air power from locations with varying levels of capacity and support.
