Airmen from the 355th Operations Support Squadron Weather Flight and the 25th Operational Weather Squadron put the anemometer on top of the TMQ-53 Tactical Meteorological Observing System during seasonal training at Mount Lemmon, Arizona, Sept. 17, 2021. The TMQ-53 is used to record the wind speed, lightning strikes, temperature, dew point, barometric pressure and wind direction in austere environments to keep the mission going in a deployed location.
