U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Brian Phillips from the 355th Operations Support Squadron Weather Flight briefs the flight and the 25th Operational Weather Squadron on the anemometer on top of the TMQ-53 Tactical Meteorological Observing System during seasonal training at Mount Lemmon, Arizona, Sept. 17, 2021. The TMQ-53 is used to record the wind speed, lightning strikes, temperature, dew point, barometric pressure and wind direction in austere environments to keep the mission going in a deployed location.
