Hurricane Ida, the category four storm, pummeled the historic black community of Ironton, La., leaving the cemetery in ruins. The floodwaters that rushed the small town forced coffins from their graves. The remains of Ironton's loved ones were pushed out by the floodwaters throughout the town and into the neighboring woodlands. (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Photo by Brigida I. Sanchez)
