A family member of U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Nathan Harvey reads his promotion warrant at the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial, Arlington, VA, Sept. 10, 2021. Lt. Col. Harvey will be assuming the role of operations officer for Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC). The MCIOC provides operational support to the Marine Forces (MARFOR) and to the Marine Air Ground Task Force and provides operations in the information environment (OIE) subject matter expertise in support of the USMC OIE advocate in order to enable the effective integration of OIE into Marine Corps operations.
