Lt. Col. Tom Ludwig, a chaplain assigned to the 139th Airlift Wing, Missouri Air National Guard, retires from military service at Rosecrans Air National Guard Base, St. Joseph, Missouri, Sept. 24, 2021. Ludwig retired with 22 years of military service at the 139th Airlift Wing where he served as the wing’s chaplain. During his time at the wing, he deployed four times in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and recently he provided chaplain support for the wing’s COVID-19 task force.
