U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Makoa Oyama, a food service specialist with 3rd Marine Division, adjusts his rifle combat optic to correct his aiming point as he shoots down range at his target during the new Annual Rifle Qualification (ARQ) on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 5, 2021. The ARQ is a three-day, combat-centric course of fire that tests Marines’ marksmanship skills in a dynamic-shooting environment. Shooters utilize artificial support, engage moving targets as well as engage targets while on the move. Oyama is a native of Aiea, Hawaii. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Karis Mattingly)
